Futuresource (pronounced Future Resource) is an international conference and trade fair, bringing together like-minded waste, environment and sustainability industry professionals from across Europe every year. Futuresource is a joint event from the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and the Environmental Services Association (ESA) and provides a forum for debating key issues, discussing best practice and sharing expertise and solutions.
Entrance to the trade fair is free and the conference is available on a per day fee.
Nearly 7,500 people attended Futuresource in 2009 from 52 countries worldwide. Around 350 exhibitors covering six key industry sectors will be showcasing their latest products and services at the Futuresource trade fair in 2010 and a programme of short seminars will be available on the show floor. Sectors covered by Futuresource include:
- recycling & composting
- waste & water management
- professional services
- air, energy & climate change
- street scene & facilities management
- vehicles & plant
