Description
The second annual EcoBuilding Conference, scheduled for 17-18 March 2011, will provide the property and construction sectors in Mauritius with the latest developments in relation to projects, regulations, initiatives and their implications, and include a world-class panel of experts who will speak under the theme: Urban Planning and Building Design in a Tropical climate. Selected international speakers include:
- Ashok B Lall, Principal of Ashok B Lall Architects, and Visiting Professor at the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) and based in New Delhi.
- Edward Ng, Architect and a Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
- Kevin Scholl, architect, educated at Harvard University and the Rhode Island School of Design. Kevin is Sr Vice President at WATG Architects and is an expert in the design of sustainable buildings for the leisure sector.
- Henry Loo, founder of LEAD, OCTAGON and GREEN Habitat property development companies.
